Funny as it may sound, Twiggy’s name came from a tree’s branch-where she was found by PAWS rescuers during the height of the Ondoy flood. But the condition she was in at that time was no laughing matter. She was rail thin, dehydrated and was running a high fever; it was a miracle she survived three days of no food and water.
Now, healthy and happy, twiggy is waiting for that special someone who will take her to her new home, and love her for her brindle, native, tree-hugging self.
