It was a dog meat trade rescue that brought Wendy to the PAWS Animal Rehab Center. Emaciated, weak, and riddled with fleas and ticks, it was hard to imagine that anyone would want to eat her!

Wendy's will to survive was obvious. In a few weeks, she was bouncing off the walls, eager to play and walk and run around the shelter. But her intelligence shone the brightest when she graduated obedience training with flying colors! She is a living proof that Aspins are just as smart and loving as any breed of dog out there.
