During his first few days in the shelter, Nigel found solace in staying close to his brothers and sisters. He grew back his fur, he gained a lot of pounds--but he became elusive and intolerant to human interaction.
Nevertheless, the sight of his siblings always being cuddled and fuzzed over by volunteers wheedled its way through the wall he built around himself. Little by little, he opened up and showed off his puppy charms, telling everyone he's ready to go home.
And he is. He's just waiting for that person destined to be his lifetime friend and family. That may very well be you.
